Weapons Charts
This is probably already posted somewhere, but, since I really don't want to sift through every thread to make sure its not, I'll go ahead and post it anyway.
This link gives the actual stats of all the weapons. Its a great help! I verified the info too. The guy who pulled it, actually got it from the the game files. He used to be a regular member on the gaming version of wikipedia. He spent hours digging every little stat out of the files. Right now I can only get the chart to work, but a week ago there was a link, all the way at the bottom, to really, reallly, indepth stats. The scope sway. The actually bullet size. The movement variables.... for every weapon. I didn't even know what most of them meant. But if you like stats. This is it! Hopefully the link for the detailed specs will be fixed soon, but the chart is still useful. The only problem I have found is that the MP5's long range damage value is 10 points higher that it is supposed to be. That is too bad because if it was correct the Mp5 would be insanely dominant - not just dominant.

I forgot to mention Joker that your actually banned from using this info to further your skills. Sorry your just too good as it is ; ). Infact, Commando can we block Joker from seeing this thread.
No seriously Joker I'm looking forward to spectating you, to see just what it is you do to get freaking 200 point games. Thats insane and awesome.

Oh... I forgot to mention the chart can be hard to read. If you have any questions. Just ask. It took me quite a bit of thinking to figure some of it out.

Good find leppy... There was a very similar stats chart on the tips thread.
After a quick scan of the stats (and yes i do understand the VERY "complex" presentation) i've decided not to change any of my strategy.
I'm pretty sure these values show that Infinity Ward made the game as balanced as they could no matter the weapon or perks. But with minor changes so that they actually make a tiny bit of difference. :P

lol ya.
Well the game is def. well balanced, and I don't think some information about guns is going to change a persons strategy. but the chart does reveal some weaknesses and strengths... the G36 for instance is a weak.

the G36 has always been a week weapon to me. Specially cuz it sounds weak.

I also know two other sites like this one. Like one of them tells you how the chopper pick it target and yes it does go after the player with the most kills Also other things factor as well.
