i had cod:waw but decided to delete it off my hard drive. i didn't realize it wasn't made by infinity ward (like cod4) + it's worldwar2 era, and i am soooo sick of those games now. that series is kinda played out for me.

yea world war 2 games got too boring... same weapons same maps same gameplay

Yep I agree. Btw I have to upgrade too because cod waw barely works. I mean my setup does not even meet minimum requirements lol but it still works.

Out of everyone I have talked to, only 2 people have said they like COD5 better. The dogs replacing Heli is kind of cool, but I got to say I like the heli better. The zombie level is a fun idea

I admit call of duty 5 is a great game zombie mode is pretty awesome but COD4 beats it because its just more fun to play COD4 :P

I have Cod :world at war
I was at level 57 in zombies.

I bought the original game and i hate to admit that im quite dissapointed. Cod 4 is way better and I'm sticking to it till cod 6 comes out.

Please someone tell me how to play online (downloaded game). I had played online but I deleted it and now I installed it again and I can't play online. I don't remember what did I do:(. PLEASE HELP!!!!

ok as you might have noticed i played the game for some time and i must say i like it. I got it to work online (cracked) its really complicated DON'T ASK ME! Cuz it will be to long to explain.

This is what i think of the game:
The only reason i like this game is that it is similar to COD4 but different guns and it is fun to have something new instead of the MP5 and AK47...

but there are some thins that re really annoying:
-The dogs: OMFG I HATE THEM (except when i have them). They are to strong! Example: you just kill 7 ppl in a row, then you activate your dogs and go hide i a corner where no-one can get to you and before you know it you have a 15 killstreak. These dogs are killing machines they really wank everything in they're sight. I played the game for 3 days and my best score was 117-24 (look on xfire), you know why? Cuz of the dogs. Before my other dogs where gone i arleady had new ones so i got mannymanny kills from them and i thought 'poor enemy', cuz they had to endure all those dogs.

-tanks: OMG EVERY n*** USES TANKS!!!!!! why? cuz it is SO EASY to get kills with it. Example: in a map without tanks, noobs get a score like 24 kills and 41 deaths. Then in the next map a score with 35 kills and 0 deaths.... o_0 WTF! Even if you play with an anti tank class (rocked launcher with 2 rockes, an anti tank grenade and extra explosive damage) you can't wank them even if you fired all your anti-tank weapons at them.
I ONCE used a tank but after that i never used it again (its just like using GL).

-The voices: In COD4 the voices are really relaxed and you berely notice them (like 'our UAV is online'). But in COD5 Some gay a** russians screams 'our recon plane will find them, wherever they hide'. Wich is to long and the voice is very annyoing. Or the german voice sounds like he gets kicked in his balls while speaking.

that was it. Except for those downsides, i kinda like it.

Well, I can play normally with 1.1 patch but with 1.2 when I open the console type e.g. connect 74.242.353.244:28960 and press enter nothing happends. I have reloaded edition
and I can't solve that problem. I searched on google many times but nothing.So can anyone help please?

EDIT: Jerich to play online you need the patch and nothing else. Then do the same thing as you do to play cod4.For me only 1.1 patch works(on cod world at war) .

dude commando if u need ot upgrade your pc 4 cod6 i DEFINATLEY need ot update!

Great game, i have cracked version on computer and original on Xbox 360.

atm im lvl 49 and im ALWAYS first i really pwn in cod 5 now. (Reason i can't play cod4 is cuz it crashes all the time???? And trust me i tried alot). Im totally crazy of the PPSh (pepeshaw) its such a cool weapon, its pwns all

its a good game but still cod 4 is better.
